How to Post a Vent: Type your vent in the textbox located at the top of the "Vents" tab. Click “Submit” to post it live. You will not be able to enter more than 250 characters, so remember to be concise!
How to Comment on a Vent: Click on the textbox located below the posted vent you would like to comment on. Type your comment then click “Submit” to post it. Comments are limited to 200 characters.
How to Use the “Vents to View” Filter: This filter allows you to control which women you interact with on VAH. Select the ages and marital statuses of women whose vents and comments you want to appear in your live feed. You may use the filter on your homepage to make temporary changes to your default filter settings. Default filter settings may be changed anytime under the “My Account” tab, in the “User Information” section.
How to Change My Settings: User information and settings may be changed anytime under the “My Account” tab. This is where you may alter your marital status, password, icon, e-mail settings and more.
How to Submit an Article or Quote: Submit relevant articles or quotes to submit@ventabouthim.com and be sure to reference the source.

1What is VentAboutHim?
VentAboutHim.com provides women with a place to discuss what's really going on in their relationships. Users of VAH may relieve frustration, receive feedback from others in real-time and, ultimately, realize they’re not alone. Vents are posted using 250 characters or less and appear in a live feed. In response to posted vents, our community of women may provide advice, insight or support that will solve problems, reduce stress and improve relationships.
2Is VentAboutHim free?
Yes! VAH is a free online community. It’s much cheaper than couples therapy, huh?
3Will people know who I am when I vent?
Users of VAH are only identified by their username. Real names will not be released to the VAH community. We suggest you do not include your name or initials in your username to better ensure confidentiality.
4Will my man be able to see what I vent about?
Again, anyone who views the website will only be able to see usernames.
5What does BTDT mean?
BTDT stands for “Been there, done that!”
6How can I manage which vents and comments appear in my feed?
You may choose the ages and marital statuses of users you want to appear in your VAH community by using the view filter. Your default filter settings may be changed anytime under My Account. This default filter setting will automatically apply each time you log on. You may temporarily alter your VAH community by using the filter located on the main page. Changes to this filter will only apply for that visit.
7Why does my user icon change between the VAH avatar and my own uploaded image?
Differences in user icons allow users to understand everyone’s level of activity on VAH. Your unique, uploaded icon will appear when you meet the qualifications of a “frequent user” of VAH. Frequent users are defined as those who post one or more vents per week and also provide feedback (via click or comment) a few times per week.
8May I submit articles and inspirational quotes?

9How may I share my opinion of the website?
